Very convenient deposit is not needed if you have a major credit card
I went to go pick up my rental car from Avis car rental.. Only to get there and could not get my rental.. Why? Because I had a Wal-Mart debit visa card, which my card stats excepted anywhere Visa is expected so the lady told me because it says Wal-Mart she could not take my payment so I gave her another debit card that's chipped and all she told me she couldn't take that card either because she doesn't not the bank.. She never bothered to check out or go ask someone else and she just turned me away... I feel totally discriminated on.. How sad
I use their services fairly for my business, they regularly serve me well, but today I left very displeased. My reservation was for 9 am and I arrived at 8.15 am, I do not know why she assumed I was in a hurry and at the end without realizing I ended up with another car that did not even look like the pick up truck I needed . Call to file a complaint, ask for a manager and it is casually. Only one advice takes years to win a good client but only seconds lose. I'm already looking for other options .
I had a horrible experience renting with Avis. I rented a car for 3 days with them and they charged me an additional 92 dollar fee because there was some blond hair in the front driver seat. I called the manager and explained but they refused to lesson the charge or remove it. It is unfair and excessive. I rent cars monthy and would never rent from them again.
Great customer service. Wait time can be anywhere between 10-35 mins. Sundays are their busiest. Saturday afternoons aren't as busy.
