Wow! Had such an amazing experience at Safari Wilderness! Beautiful place with exotic animals I never thought I would see in Florida. The location, helpful staff, happy animals, and budget friendly adventure really made my day.
This place is so amazing! I had the opportunity to hand feed llamas and water buffalo. We got to see so many awesome animals. The tour guide was knowledgeable and made the safari fun. This is a hidden jewel a must do for sure!
This is a great opportunity to get away from the city and entertainment parks! A great investment to help animals and endangered species! Emily & Jesse educated us about the parks responsibility and the animals they care for on the 260 acre park while we fed treats to some animals. Parking (car or bus) , Safari Trip and optional feeding fees. You must feed the lemurs in one of the optional feedings! Adults & children will learn about the animals while you feed them! 3 - 4 hours depending on your selections.
I'd live to be able to go but the prices are crazy high some more expensive then Disney like that is crazy. So for a family of 4 it'll cost $400 for a day of entertainment and that is with nothing added. Lower the prices and I'm sure you'll have more business.
This was my second visit to Safari Wilderness and both experiences were amazing. This time our tour guide was Emily who was excellent. Emily was very knowledgeable and entertaining, you could tell she loved her job and really cared about the animals. You get to feed some of the animals and get to see them in a natural setting. I would highly recommend going on the sunset tour.
